The Passing of John Bellis

After a courageous battle with cancer passed peacefully, with his family by his side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, October 10,
2011 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Larner). Loving father of Chris and his wife Mabel and Tony and his wife Janice. Cherished granddad of Liam and Caleb. Dear brother of Gillian Dover (Jeff), David, Jayne Gillard (Lee), Alison Phillips and Sarah Bellis. Brother-in-law of Arine Attwood (Norman), Maureen Ashworth (David), and Jo Killen (Steve).

Friends will be received at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 600 Monaghan Rd., S., Peterborough on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 10 a.m.

John will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, and an avid soccer player . He will be greatly missed as he has been a model husband, father, grandfather and friend to those who have known him. May we always celebrate his life.
